sb independent | april 17, 2020 Remember when you used to lay on the concrete around the pool to get warm. Cats, especially big ones, love to lie on warm surfaces to nap. bbc news | april 12, 2020 Happy Easter everyone. I only have one post for today. Andrea Bocelli's free Music for Hope video from the Duomo di Milano in Italy. It's been a long week but we're hanging in. Wuhan is ever so slowly returning to life. New York and Italy are starting to look at potential economic restarting strategies. Zoom, although not perfect, has been amazing transitioning from a now-and-again application to a global communication tool almost over night. It brought our family together from across the country for Easter Sunday without a delay, glitch, or hiccup. Easter is a religious holiday but it is also a time of hope and rebirth. In the snow bound areas flowers and bulbs push through the snow and the days start to become longer. Spring is on the horizon and a sense of lightness and hope is in the air. Stay safe and together. Hugs and Cheers. :)

the liningsAmidst all the bad news, cancellations, and fear lately there are more than a few silver linings... although you have to dig a little deeper these days. The human spirit hasn't been crushed...just beaten down a little. In a time when we're not supposed to get too close to one another maybe we'll have to reach each other through our hearts (and humor). Hopefully some of these stories will do that. Please pass along any stories you have (contact form)...I'd love to hear from you and the good you've found during this global crisis. I'll post as many as I can. Take care. ArchivesCategories |
